Lia is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and received her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. Lia initially spent time at a small plaintiff’s firm handling childhood sexual abuse cases, which really gave her a heart for assisting and advocating for the client in the best way possible. Since then, she has gained an equal appreciation for advocating for defense and estate clients, and she brings a can-do approach to any challenge. Prior to Frey Buck, she also spent time assisting in IP/patent, environmental, and Indian law matters, and she strives to be quick to adapt to whatever a current case requires. She values the trust clients place in the firm and truly enjoys the team and dynamic, fast-paced work she has found at Frey Buck.
Outside of work at Frey Buck, Lia enjoys participating in ultramarathons and triathlons, spending time with family and friends, getting to know people and places, photography, horseback riding, and a myriad of outdoor activities. She is a member of Seattle Chi Omega Alumnae’s executive board, through which she supports local charities in addition to Chi Omega’s national partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
