Principal

Sumeer is a trial lawyer with over 23 years of litigation and trial experience. Ever since he emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 12, Sumeer has believed that the rule of law is the ultimate equalizer. Sumeer relishes the honor of representing his clients and fighting to get them and their family the justice they deserve. He has a proven record of success in litigating cases with over $25 million recovered for his clients in the last five years. Sumeer loves the law, and he loves his work.

Sumeer’s practice focuses on several areas. He represents those who have been victims of sexual abuse in foster homes and sexual abuse in juvenile detention centers when they were children. He also represents those who have faced discrimination or hostile work environment in their employment. Sumeer represents clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries or harms as a result of an accident. Sumeer accepts those cases where trial is an eventuality.
Sumeer is dedicated to service of others. Prior to joining private practice, Sumeer served as a criminal prosecutor where he conducted nearly 40 jury trials. He had the honor of finding justice for victims of sexual assault and serious violent crimes. Sumeer has also served as policy director in the Washington State legislature, and counsel to several government agencies.

Sumeer grew up in Punjab, India, until he was 12 years old. Thereafter, he grew up in small agrarian town in Eastern Washington, Othello. Outside of his legal career, Sumeer enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife. Having studied acting through college, and worked as an actor before starting his legal career, Sumeer enjoys local performing arts. He grew up in Eastern Washington growing apples and cherries. He enjoys running and tennis, and is always working on his golf game.

  • Apple King v. Washington State University – After over two years of litigation, obtained
    a favorable mediation result for clients in a high value case against a public institution
    regarding a breach of a intellectual property licensing agreement.
  • Kopf v. Proliance – After a two-week trial, obtained a favorable settlement of $1.6
    million in a medical negligence and wrongful death case.
  • J.M. v. MultiCare Health Systems, Inc. – Obtained a mid-six-figure settlement in a case
    involving sexual assault of a minor.
  • Obtained a mid-six figure confidential settlement with a private entity involving a sexual
    assault of a minor.
  • Lowery v. MultiCare Health Systems, Inc. – obtained a high-six-figure settlement
    involving a medical negligence claim.
  • Z.B. v. Growing Smart Kidz – Negotiated a seven-figure settlement on the eve of trial on
