Joseph Toups

Joseph is a dedicated and strategic commercial litigator, representing clients in complex commercial, contract, and real property disputes with a sharp eye for detail and a results-driven approach. He is admitted to practice in both Washington and Texas, and has advocated for clients before the Washington Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Joseph earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where he graduated with pro bono honors, reflecting his commitment to service and access to justice. He also holds a B.A. in Business and International Relations from the University of Southern California, graduating cum laude. Prior to joining Frey Buck, Joseph worked at Williams Kastner, where he focused on general business litigation and developed a reputation for excellence in both oral and written advocacy.

Known for his thoughtful litigation strategy, clear communication, and calm presence in high-stakes situations, Joseph partners closely with his clients to guide them through every phase of litigation with clarity and confidence.

Originally from Houston, Joseph has called Seattle home for nearly a decade. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys discovering live music venues around the city and escaping to the mountains for a change of pace.
