Sumeer is a trial lawyer with over 23 years of litigation and trial experience. Ever since he emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 12, Sumeer has believed that the rule of law is the ultimate equalizer. He relishes the honor of representing his clients and fighting to get them and their families the justice they deserve. He has a proven record of success, recovering over $25 million for his clients in the last five years alone. Sumeer loves the law, and he loves his work.
Sumeer’s practice focuses on several areas, including representation for victims of sexual abuse in foster homes and juvenile detention centers. He also represents those who have faced discrimination or a hostile work environment, as well as clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries or harm as a result of an accident. Sumeer accepts those cases where trial is an eventuality.
Sumeer is dedicated to the service of others. Prior to joining private practice, he served as a criminal prosecutor, where he conducted nearly 40 jury trials and had the honor of finding justice for victims of sexual assault and serious violent crimes. Sumeer has also served as a policy director in the Washington State legislature and as counsel to several government agencies.
Sumeer grew up in Punjab, India, until he was 12 years old, later moving to Othello, a small agrarian town in Eastern Washington. Outside of his legal career, Sumeer enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Having studied acting through college and worked as an actor before starting his legal career, he is a supporter of local performing arts. He also enjoys running, tennis, and always working on his golf game.
